Does it count characters with or without spaces?
Both. By default spaces are excluded, and the include-spaces toggle adds them back, since different platforms count whitespace differently.
What counts as a sentence?
Sentences are detected from end punctuation such as full stops, question marks and exclamation marks, so the count reflects how the text is punctuated.
What are the social and SEO limits for?
They show common length caps for titles, posts and meta tags, and mark whether your current text passes each, which helps you stay within platform and search limits.
