Getting started
Every tool on Online Convert works the same simple way. Open the tool you need, paste your text or upload your file, and you get the result straight away. From there you can copy it or download it. Most of our tools run right in your browser, so there is nothing to install and, for the majority of them, no account to create.
Do I need an account?
No, not for everyday use. Almost all of our tools are free to use without signing up. We only ask you to create an account if you want a higher daily limit on a few of the heavier tools, such as background removal and the image and format converters, which use more of our server resources.
Is it really free?
Yes. The tools are free to use, and we cover our running costs with ads. There is no trial that quietly turns into a paid plan and no hidden charges.
Are my files and text private?
We take this seriously. Most of the text tools do their work inside your browser, which means your text never leaves your device. For the tools that have to process something on our server, image conversion or background removal, for example, your file is used only to create your result and is not kept around longer than it needs to be. We do not sell your files or use them for anything other than giving you the output you asked for.
Why do some tools have a daily limit?
A small number of tools do a lot of heavy lifting behind the scenes. To keep the site fast and free for everyone, guests get a few free runs of those tools each day. If you need more, signing in raises the limit.
Which file formats are supported?
It depends on the tool, and each tool page tells you exactly what it accepts and produces. The image tools, for instance, handle common formats like JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF, while the data tools work with JSON, XML, CSV, YAML and more.
A tool is not working the way I expected
Sorry about that. We would genuinely like to fix it. Email us at info.onlineconvert.pro@gmail.com and tell us which tool you were using, what you were trying to do, and what happened instead. A screenshot helps a lot if you can include one.
